Treatment Options
Long-term or frequent follow ups...
When follow-up treatments are needed weekly (or more) AFTER THE FIRST 3 APPOINTEMNTS, patients may be referred to 30mins acupunture-only sessions on set evenings. This allows for chronic or difficult conditions to be treated as frequently as needed for optimal chances of recovery, but more sustainably.
These sessions take place:
Tuesday an Thrsday evenings in Tubbercurry
Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings in Sligo
Limited spaces, on invitation only.
In-depth case taking to establish a Chinese Medicine diagnosis, followed by an acupuncture treatment. Moxibustion, Cupping and Tuina are also used when appropriate to provide a comprehensive treatment protocol. For the majority of presentations, easy to follow dietary, exercise and lifestyle recommendations are also discussed.

An individualised herbal formula may also be prescribed as part of this consultation time, but the herbal formula itself will be priced separately.
Herbal Consultations
The Chinese Herbalism service offers a 30-minutes consultation to establish a Chinese Medicine diagnosis and prescribe personalised herbal solutions for various conditions. I mostly prescribe Full Spectrum herbal extracts (instant granules), but also raw herbs (requiring home decocting), creams, and lotions.
Initial Consultation: € 40
Follow-Up Consultations (in person or online): €20

(usually €10 - €25/week depending on dosages)
Moxa Spa Time
Indulge in a 1-hour deeply soothing and nurturing Moxibustion treatment (slow burning Mugwort floss) over specific areas of your body. A short consultation precedes the treatment to tailor the areas of application to your personal needs.

Cupping Massage
A 40-minutes cupping massage using a blend of sliding and static cupping methods, with glass-fire cups and/or silicone cups. It can be light, for a deep relaxation time (along with essential oils), or stronger, for the efficient release of muscle tensions (along with herbal massage oils for optimal effect).
